Southern Cross Laser & Sheet Metal is the new generation of Southern Cross Stainless Steel which was a family business that started over 35 years ago. Southern Cross Stainless Steel was started in a factory in Sydney by Gary Sydenham, Sid Saad, Russell Mann & Brian Stacy.
5 years later Gary’s son, Bruce, joined as an apprentice in the factory. Throughout the years original owners have step away and sold their share, but Gary remained. As his Bruce developed his trade, so did the business and so commenced the focus of succession planning for Bruce to replace Gary as he commences retirement.
With sheet metal fabrication evolving it was time for change, Bruce believed it to be the right time to expand the business and add laser cutting to our services. The best part about all this is that with this addition to the business all the experienced staff have been retained.
With Gary still in a mentoring role within Southern Cross Laser & Sheet Metal, Anthony running the factory for the past 10 years, Sid running site installation for 35 years & Bruce running the business, Not to forget our dedicated office staff and factory team, their years of service to us is endless. You can be assured that the team is experienced in manufacturing, installation & construction.
Southern Cross Laser & Sheet Metal has a wide experience in the fabrication of products produced from stainless steel, formed from sheet or tubular determination. Southern Cross Laser & Sheet Metal manufacture an extensive range of standard and specialty products. We also manufacture and install, if required, fabrications to architectural detail & Laser cutting.
Some of the kinds of work we do are for Universities, schools, hospitals, commercial kitchens, Restaurants, cafés, fish shops, kitchen fit outs and laser cutting.
